On February 26 the Blackhawks finished up the season hosting a tough Mounders team, losing 64-38. This team played hard and stuck together all year and this game was no different. The Hawks trailed 33-15 at the half with Tegan Treankler scoring 9 points. We also had 5 first half steals.
We continued our defensive pressure in the second half, trying to shake things loose. Nine players grabbed rebounds. The guys really got aggressive offensively, attacking the basket whenever they could. The Blackhawks got to the FT line 21 times in the second half, making 15. Derek Potocnik and Isaiah Pyrchalla both hit threes. I want to thank these players for their hard work all season.
