The Owen Public Library will be hosting three local authors at the Owen Jr. Fair this year. Come to the Old School on Saturday, September 12 between noon and 4:00 p.m. to meet Mary Anne Arendt, Stephen Jarocki, and B. E. Thideman. They will have copies of their books with them for selling and signing. The library also has copies of at least one of each author’s books for checkout.
Mary Anne Arendt of Spencer is the author of historical love stories Ratting on a Fish, and Lily of the Valley. If you stop in, be sure to ask her where she got the unusual title for her first book, Ratting on a Fish.
Stephen Jarocki, currently resides in River Falls but returns to his hometown of Withee to visit family. He has written a trilogy of books called Ucksil’s Folly, made up of the titles: 1. A Mage’s Mentor, 2. A Traitor’s Toil, and 3. A Sentinel’s Sacrifice.
B. E. Thidemann of Thorp is a teacher. Earlier this year her first book, Heart of Stone was released. She is continuing on with the second book in her romantic suspense series, soon to be published. Heart of Stone is the first book in the KC Stone series. The second will be Breaking Stone.
All are welcome to meet and talk with these authors on Saturday, September 12 at the Old School from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
