The Hawks traveled to Rib Lake on January 27 and lost to the Redmen in a close one, 54-50. The Blackhawks came out and got the offense going. Talon Mueller hit 3 threes and Colton Paczkowski hit 2 threes, scoring 11 points and 10 points respectively. The Hawks also hit 8 of 10 from the line taking a 34-27 lead at the half. Coming out the second half the Hawks cooled off a little as Rib Lake would take the lead late to pull out the win.

Next up was the Greenwood Indians January 30 which the Blackhawks hosted and won 68-31 on Parents' Night. The Hawks got off to a great start early and never looked back. The Blackhawks led at the half 38-15 with six players scoring. The second half the Blackhawks continued to pass the ball well scoring 30 points and playing tough defense.

We ended the week on January 31 with a big win hosting the Edgar Wildcats in another close, hard-fought game, 34-29. It was a low scoring first half with the Hawks scoring 15 points and holding the Wildcats to just 9 points. The second half the guys took good care of the ball and maintained a 6-7 lead. The Wildcats hit a late three to make the score 32-29. Edgar would get another shot to tie with 10 seconds left but Steve Negron grabbed a big rebound. P. Fritz was then fouled and hit two free throws with six seconds to seal it.
