The Blackhawks traveled to Colby February 21 to play their last conference game. The Hornets edged out the Hawks 40-34. The Blackhawks started man defense full court which took the Hornets out of the offensive flow. We also changed it up, trapping off and on and got 6 steals in the first half but trailed 22-21. The Hawks continued to play hard defense as it has improved tremendously throughout the season. Our offense moved the ball well but couldn't finish enough second chance opportunities in the paint. The Hawks could get no closer than 4 points. The guys did a nice job against the Hornets' pressure, having 12 turnovers for the game. I'm very proud of this team and how they improved. They were very coachable and never stopped learning. Thanks for all your hard work!
