Organizer Linda Barna invites all to visit the Owen Farmer’s Market held Saturdays from 9 a.m.-noon, at the Mill Pond Park, Owen, on Highway X. Linda says there are usually about 6 or 7 vendors who sell various items such as baked goods, plants, fresh produce, Tupperware, canned goods, books and more. Anyone who wants to sell at the market can stop by Saturday morning and fill out a simple form, follow a few basic rules, and show courtesy to other vendors.

“It’s just a nice friendly place to come,” said Linda.

If you have any questions Linda will be happy to help answer them. The Owen DRC sponsors the market and offers free coffee and treats to all who stop by. And they encourage visitors to hop aboard the Blackhawk Express train for a free ride from 10 a.m.-Noon, weather permitting.

For more information call Linda Barna at 715-229-4320.
