Owen-Withee traveled to Stanley on Thursday, September 11, taking home medals in the high school boys, high school girls, and middle school girls races.
As for high school boys, Colton Paczkowski placed fourth, finishing with a time of 17:46.12. Three other O-W runners also competed in the high school boys race, with Steven Negron-Gonzalez finishing 24th with a time of 20:14.01, Nick Dambeck finishing 55th in 23:55.84 and Malachi Frenette finishing 60th in 26:22.47. The average time overall for the high school boys was 22:04.
As for the high school girls, Addelyn Petersen placed fifth with a time of 22:10.31. Other times for Owen-Withee included Evelyn Larson finished 35th with 27:16.49, Riah Renderman finished 46th with 30:29.21, and Maddie Roberts finished 48th with 30:37.72. The girls as a whole finished with an average time of 27:38.
As for the middle school girls race, there were three medal winners. Evelyn Goessl finished first with a time of 13:17.15, Cora Simenson finished seventh with a time of 14:30.01, and Alainna Goessl finished eighth with a time of 14:52.05. Anna Davis finished 43rd with a time of 17:49.48, the middle school girls having an average race time of 15:09.
Closing out with the middle school boys results, Gavin Westaby finished with a time of 22:52.43, being the sole middle school runner for Owen-Withee.
Competing at Loyal on Saturday, September 13, Owen-Withee results in the top 10 included Steven Negron-Gonzalez finishing ninth for the high school boys with a time of 20:46, as well as Addelyn Petersen finishing second in the high school girls race with a time of 23:01 and Evelyn Larson finishing tenth with 28:02. Maddie Roberts finished 11th in the high school girls race with a time of 32:57, while Riah Renderman finished 12th in the high school girls race with a time of 32:59.
Middle school girls top ten results from Loyal meanwhile included Evelyn Goessl in second with a time of 14:27 and Cora Simenson in third with a time of 14:43. Alainna Goessl placed eighth with a time of 15:20.
The middle school boys runners at Loyal included Jacob Nelson and Gavin Westaby, finishing in 22:57.
