Meet Heidi, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Heidi came to CCHS from a local farm. She is a Mixed Breed, and she is the mother to three of our other puppies, Ham, Sausage and Bacon. Heidi is about four years old and weighs 43.2 pounds. She is a very pretty girl with a medium-haired white and black coat that is very soft. Heidi is a happy girl with a positive outlook on life. She enjoys playing with her tennis ball and will be happy to entertain you. Heidi usually has a happy smile on her face and would love to share her happiness with her new forever family. Apply for Heidi today! You can submit your adoption application for Heidi on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt. We have lots of wonderful pets available for adoption now, especially dogs and puppies, so please check them all out and then stop in to visit!

Freeday Friday is back!! On Friday, July 5, Freeday Friday will be held at our original CC Resale Store. It's located at 600 Hewett St, in downtown Neillsville, on the corner opposite the Post Office. This is our “inconvenience store”. We have lousy parking, terrible hours, not much is organized and we don’t care if you buy anything or not. And yet, people love it. You know why?....Cuz it’s all FREE! That’s right, bring your bags, boxes, cars, trucks or buggies and fill ‘em up. It’s all free! We call it Freeday Friday and it’s July 5 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. See you then!!
