The 27th Robert E. and Violet Poppe reunion was held at Wildwood Station in Marshfield on Saturday, July 13, 2024 with 94 family members in attendance. This event was hosted by the Jill Poppe Graf family of Columbus, OH and William Poppe family of Marathon, WI.

A potluck meal was enjoyed as the children were entertained by the play area and zoo, as well as water games. Two new names were added to the family roll since our 2023 reunion: Aniah Ehrendreich and Tatum Tietgen. A raffle and auction were held with much friendly banter.

Warm memories were shared as a special time was set aside to honor Robert D. (Bob) Poppe, who passed away on July 1, 2024 in Cincinnati, OH at age 91. Donations will be made in his name to Celebrate Life Foundation and to Owen-Withee Area Historical Society.

States represented at this reunion include Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
