Rain and hail on Friday night didn’t dampen the spirits of the dozen entertainers who showed up for the Talent Show. The crowd enjoyed the variety of performances from skits to improvisation to singing to dancing to dog tricks. There was also a little trivia as part of the show. Saturday brought better weather for the Fun Run, Dairy Breakfast, and Pickle Ball Tournament. Children and adults alike enjoyed food, beverages, and games. The Curtiss Corners Quilt Club displayed the quilts that will be donated to honor flight. Author Sandra Lindberg was at the library to visit early in the day on Saturday, but also set up by the bingo games on Saturday evening and the chicken dinner on Sunday to promote her book and share memories with those who had her mother for a teacher. Also on Saturday evening, Henna North was kept busy creating henna tattoos in a variety of designs. In the Groove provided music for Saturday night. With no contestants for the O-W Ambassador contest this year, last year’s ambassador Brooke Geiger consented to continue as the ambassador for another year. Sunday morning began with an ecumenical church service. Then people enjoyed a chicken dinner, pie and ice cream, and the parade. The ever-popular Cynor Classics provided music after the parade. Many enjoyed playing bingo throughout the weekend.
