Trunk or Treat is almost here

Trunk or Treat is coming up on Friday, October 31, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.. Families can bring children to Trick or Treat on the last block of Central Ave, which ends at the Owen Public Library. There will be decorated cars and stands with lots of treats to give away, spooky Halloween decorations, and music. The train will be giving rides, and Katie Bower will bring her horse, in costume, for children to meet and pose with for photos. Businesses along Central Avenue may also join in, so be sure to stop if you see lights on.
The Owen Library began hosting Trunk or Treat in 2019. There was no event in 2020 due to COVID, but it has been held regularly since 2021, making this year the Sixth Annual Trunk or Treat. The residents and business owners have been generous, helping the library make this a festive occasion with 200 or more Trick or Treaters each year.
It’s always fun to see so many unique and exciting costumes on kids, adults, and dogs that come along for the fun. Bring the kids down on Friday, October 31, between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m., for another year of Trunk or Treat fun
