On November 25 the JV Boys Basketball team tipped off their season with a road win. The Blackhawks defeated the Gresham Wildcats 69-31. The Hawks put together a good half, getting a number of steals trapping the Wildcats. Seven players scored in the first half with Nolan Peterson scoring 16 points, hitting 4 three-pointers and Crandon Dallman 8 points. The Hawks led 35-16 at the half.
The second half the Blackhawks' defense kept hard pressure on the Wildcats. Our offense kept getting good shots as the team passed the ball well. Tegan Treankler had 15 points in the second half to lead the Hawks. The team rebounded well and controlled the game throughout. It was a nice win to start the season.
