Blackhawks lose at Neillsville

The Blackhawks lost on the road, at Neillsville, to end their Eastern Cloverbelt Conference season by a 76-56 final.
The Blackhawks grabbed an early lead with hoops from Preston Fritz, Colton Paczkowski, and Jack Wendler as they forged ahead of the Warriors. The Warriors battled back with their own offense. A Winston Poehler three and a pair of free throws by Fritz continued to keep it close. However, the Warriors would go on a late run to end the half and take a 29-21 halftime lead.
The Blackhawks worked to reel in the Warriors, but the Warriors got hot from three. Clay Mueller would score eight points in the half as would Paczkowski. Seven different Blackhawks scored in the half, but could not make a solid run back at the Warriors who hit eight threes in the second half and won 76-56.
The Blackhawks finished with only 12 turnovers and had 9 steals.

Coach's Comments
We came out on a nice run, but just could not sustain it as we had a difficult time finishing throughout the game. We talked on both ends early and then it seemed that we communicated less as the game conti
