Owen-Withee Blackhawks Senior Basketball Players Winston Poehler and Jack Wendler were both honored by the Cloverbelt Conference on Saturday. Winston received 2nd Team All-Conference and Jack Wendler received Honorable Mention in the Eastern Cloverbelt.
Winston earned 2nd Team All-Conference for his overall game, which included strong play shooting from the outside as well as inside along with his rebounding and effort on defense.
Jack earned Honorable Mention for his inside post play for the Blackhawks on the offensive end along with his strong defensive play and help defense.
Winston is the son of Angie Miller and Travis Poehler and Jack is the son of Julie and Jim Wendler.
Congratulations to both of them, their teammates that made it possible and the entire Owen-Withee Blackhawks Basketball Program.
