Two of our new volunteers Jenny & Ashley with their supervisor Karen.

The new craft kits are here with a variety of fun projects and treats! Some of the activities include building a Red, White, and Blue Butterfly Banner, making a Clown Ball, an Uncle Sam doll, a Love & Peace Bug Collection featuring a bee, butterfly, and ladybug. You can build a decorative Red, White, and Blue Crown. The kit also has a bag filled with treats like candy, toy tops, and more. And don’t forget that if you let the Withee Public Library take a picture of one of your completed projects you can claim a prize from our toy chest.

The Cat in the Hat Storytime Hour

Starting in July, the Withee Public Library will have Storytime twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, from 12-1 p.m.. The Cat in the Hat will read a variety of stories, present games, and provide snacks for all the children who attend! This will run all Summer, so swing by and have some fun.

The Withee Public Library celebrates its new helpers

For the last couple of months, the Withee Public Library has been receiving some much-appreciated help from volunteers from the Day Service Programs at the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center in Owen. These volunteers have been arriving like clockwork every Tuesday and Monday, helping to clean up and maintain the Withee Library, and learning positive life skills in the process. They’ve also become new patrons, frequently checking out books and movies.

One Dollar a Bag Book Sale sll Summer long

Due to the success of our $1 bag book sale for the month of Juhe, we are extending it for the entire Summer. You can still stuff a bag with as many books as you can fit from our Book Sale and buy them all for just one dollar at the Withee Public Library. New titles are being added weekly.

We’ve already handed out several bookmarks this Summer, so don’t be left out! Swing by and begin your reading adventure at the Withee Public Library.
