Our community lost a wonderful man recently with the passing of Norby Pabich. He was a city council member for more than 20 years. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. The Master Package building by the Mill Pond is a historic landmark for the city of Owen and Norby was very proud to maintain that building. He loved the city of Owen and was responsible for many generous donations for numerous improvements to our city. He will be sadly missed. My condolences go out to his family.
Congratulations to the Owen-Withee boys and girls track team on their conference championships. Also on their wins in regionals and sectionals and good luck at state to those who are advancing. What a great year in celebration of our 100 years with all these amazing athletes making it to state in football, girls basketball, and boys and girls track. Congratulations also goes out to the golf team having two golfers advancing to sectionals.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025 graduates and good luck to you in your future endeavors.
Have a great week. Until next time.
