The day was beautiful with the temperature in the 80s, a partly cloudy sky and little to no breeze. A perfect day for
the 16 avid golfers who showed up at the Meadowview Golf Course for the weekly Tuesday Fun League. Course
conditions were great with fairways and greens in great condition. Four teams were formed headed up by captains
Scott Strzok, Jack Wendler, Bruce Bednar and LeRoy Wellman. Remaining members of the teams were formed by
drawing cards. The game format this week was Dice Scramble. In this format, players are assigned a number 1, 2, 3, or 4. After all hit their drive a die is tossed to determine whose drive is chosen. Roll a 5, use the worst drive. Roll a
6, use the best drive. The winning team parred every hole shooting a 36 beating the 2nd place team by 1 shot. Team
members were Jack Wendler, Rick Raatz, Dylan Bogseth and Dennis Kieser. Jack Wendler won the only hole prize
making the longest putt on hole #9. The Fun League is held every Tuesday at Meadowview Golf Course during the
spring, summer, and fall. Each week, we play a different version of the Scramble format, so everyone gets a fresh
and exciting experience. Please get there early, by 9:30 a.m., to sign up and get assigned to a team. Tee-off is at
10:00 a.m. Come and enjoy a relaxed round of golf that’s sure to be fun and rewarding
