Members of the Owen High School (OHS), Withee High School (WHS) and Owen-Withee High School (OWHS), as a small group from the classes of 1943-1977, attended the 29th All Class Reunion at Meadowview on Saturday, July 13. Everyone was welcomed by Cindy Cardinal. Dick Allen led the Pledge of Allegiance and Nancy Amacher said the Meal Prayer.

After a dinner enjoyed by all, those in attendance introduced themselves.

Cindy Cardinal talked about plans for Owen’s Centennial celebration in 2025. Attendees were made aware of events happening at the Owen Jr. Fair, the Old School, and the Owen-Withee Historical Society over the weekend. All were encouraged to attend.

Thanks to donations from those who attended the reunion and those who couldn’t attend, but sent a donation anyway, it was decided to give some money back to our community. The Owen-Withee Alumni group voted to donate $200 each to the Owen Centennial Committee and the Youth Softball project at Crowley Park.

Everyone sang “God Bless America”, which has become part of the tradition. Then a group photo was taken.

The date for next year’s reunion has not been set yet. People on the mailing list will be kept informed. Information will also be posted in the following Facebook groups: Owen-Withee All Class Reunion, Friends of the Old School, and Owen-Withee, Wisconsin.
