I've mentioned a great many times before that I had spent a great many years attending a lot of business training and seminars. I've heard a lot of speakers share from stage, some of which were making a little more than me, and others who were making multiple millions of dollars clear per month! One of the common themes of their success was always spoken as being "an attitude of gratitude." Yeah, I know, it sounds corny. But, all of those who started out and became huge business people with huge incomes talked about it a lot.

One of the recent things that occurred that I'm grateful for is a minor blessing in the business world. A customer came in and did something that really cemented their character and integrity with me. I already respected them, but they did something that took my respect level through the roof for them. And they did it in a very "classy" and humble way, too. They did such that they took personal responsibility, but made zero effort to "puff their chest" at all.

You know, when people do the right thing, even when it's hard, and there is no calling attention to themselves in the process, that's an amazing thing. That strikes me as character and integrity being exemplified through their actions. I have come to find that when folks do the right thing, even when it hurts them for the short term, it is respectable and commendable. It's something I fight hard to do, every day. And I'll continue to keep working to make the character and integrity decisions. I may not always succeed, but I'm sure going to work hard to do so!
