You know, it surprises me and also brings me a lot of comfort when I get to hear about "random acts of kindness." It is especially impactful when it's from sources that you don't think would be the ones who would normally perform such an act. On September 12, 2024, one person had their bad decision headed off by a rock star, and walked away safely from it. Today, in Nashville, TN Jon Bon Jovi took a break from making a video. And he saw a lady standing on the wrong side of a bridge railing, and brought her back over to safety, and to those who could help her out.
You know, I am just so grateful to hear a story like this right now, in this place in our lives. In the midst of someone performing the duties of their trade, they saw something off. And instead of just ignoring it, or thinking someone else would deal with it, they did the right thing. They went and took care of it themselves! And they lead by example and used their "star power" to help positively impact someone who was apparently looking to jump off a bridge...and saved their lives.
For me, it was a great reminder that there are a lot of good people in the world. And amidst all the good people are a few who are fighting different things, and some are not winning. And this reminder was that we should always try to have all the good we have going on infecting those around us, because we never know who of those around us is fighting a battle and losing it.
